Recommended brand of snap caps for .223?
Honestly, it doesn't matter. Got to you local gun store and ask for some snap caps for .223 (or check out amazon/whatever).
My only advice is to get them in a bright color (red).

I own the Mantis system for my rifle (just the trigger reset system and the laser, not the shot tracking stuff).
Honestly, it's probably the best training tool I've ever purchased. I use it for dry fire at home as well as CQB dry runs.
